Born in Iowa in 1951. Miller was raised in Northern California here he now resides. He is also a part-time resident of Hawaii. While Miller is best known for his marine life subject matter, his oeurve further incorporates acclaimed island seascapes and lush tropical landscapes. Such innovative versatility only enhances his prestigious position in the environmental art movement.
David Miller's mixed media process is a combination of the two most popular reproduction processes in the industry: offset lithography and silk screening. These state-of-the-art pieces in his gallery are printed on acid-free, archival cover stock and have been individually silk-screened by hand several times to add calorie and/or texture. Each numbered limited edition is approved and hand signed by David Miller.
